I'm glad you liked Ant-Man better after seeing it twice! I definitely like it better than Ultron too, for exactly that reason -- small and not overstuffed really made it work.

I have not, but it is on my radar. I'm sure I'd enjoy a two-hour action scene, but I haven't got around to it yet. Also, I know it's not necessary, I feel like I should watch the whole of at least one Mel Mad Max film before I see it, and I've only seen parts of one!Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08901639281043602191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7076471470585210140.post-45511944852484266082016-01-14T13:16:20.119-05:002016-01-14T13:16:20.119-05:00Cool -- yeah, I agree with that!

It's just about what I liked personally about the book that I thought the movie failed to do.

Thanks Faith! :)Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08901639281043602191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7076471470585210140.post-59946150555531340172016-01-12T16:25:43.466-05:002016-01-12T16:25:43.466-05:00Excellent breakdown of the year! The Martian was a surprise for me, since I never heard of the book or read the reviews, so that was a real treat. Ant-Man was SO MUCH better on my second viewing. I think I liked it more than Age of Ultron. But rewatching was so much fun, and the movie's ironically small focus really worked at making the movie not overstuffed.

Have you seen Mad Max yet? I'm curious, although I'm not one of those people that think it is the BEST THING EVER. lol It was well directed and an incredible action sequence, and I mean that the movie is an action sequence. :D Anyway, just curious!

-JamesJames the Reviewerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00165238905288033483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7076471470585210140.post-53967176210430990722016-01-12T11:52:55.332-05:002016-01-12T11:52:55.332-05:00I actually just watched Old Fashioned.
